Template Challenge #1

I must admit I have NEVER done a digi-scrapping challenge before this past month. I participated in the March Madness Challenge they had going on over at Scrap Orchard this month.....and I must say, I'm hooked! It was a super fun challenge and I'm kind of sad to see it coming to an end. I made a layout each week for the different challenge they would have each week. I know, I know you probably want to see them.....but you'll have to wait until next week. It was a secret challenge, so nobody knew who anybody was. So fun!!! Although I'm pretty sure I did give myself away with the last challenge. I seriously can't wait to show you my layouts, I had so much fun making them.....and I think they really did challenge me to try new things and they definitely stretched me beyond my normal scrapping style.

So, what I'm going to do each week is let you guys participate in my own Template Blog Challenge. I think I'm going to call it Template Challenge Monday. All you have to do is grab the free template I give you. It'll probably be from an older set of templates. Then make a page with the template and then post a link to your layout under the comments section by Thursday evening. Then I will choose my favorite layout. The person who is chosen will win one of my new template packs that will be released that Thurs/Frid.

So are you guys ready? This one is from my lates pack called Vertical Templates. Just click the pic to download. Hope you guys have as much fun with this as I did.

Download is Expired.

Oh my. I was so excited about my Challenge that I forgot to tell you why I wasn't around last week. My fam and I went to Florida for the week. We took our girls to Disney for part of the week and then visited family the rest of the week. I took over 500 pics of us at Disney! The one below is one of my favorite pics. I just love my youngests face. Snow White is her absolute favorite princess and she was just so excited. We had a blast but are so thankful to be back home.

I used my Date Seals to "Stamp" the picture. I made my own little
Mickey Mouse with circles.
I like to put a little reminder out here once a month, for those of you who are new to me, about the way you have a chance to get free stuff from me. There are a couple of ways.
1. Become a fan on facebook or become a blog follower and on the 1st of each month I randomly choose someone to win a $5 gift card to my store. (or join both and have a double chance)
2. Sign up to receive my newsletter. (Just enter your e-mail on the side of my blog) I always have an exclusive freebie or coupon in my newsletter. I usually send it out once a month.
3. I almost forgot. You can join me on twitter too. I'm still getting used to it. I'll probably be posting info out there too.....so you just never know.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing your layouts!

Thank you for the template - you are always so generous. And your Disney stamp is so creative and well done! I'm not sure what you call it, but I love the little "glow" shadow around the stamp and Mickey design. I'm sure some of us would love a tutorial on that! You could do that in the 25th hour of your day, right?
