Life with Liz - My Weekend, Sneak Peek and Chance to Win!

I had all these grand ideas for today's blog post but I'm sorry to say that I'm just too tired to do what I had planned (maybe next week).....so I'm just going to show you a few pics from my weekend.  Hope you don't mind. We had a quick trip to Atlanta to visit my MIL who was in town and we took her to the Georgia Aquarium.  Let's just say it was a bit crazy and we almost regretted our decision to go but when we got in our van after a very long and tiring day we asked the girls if they had fun and they all said they had a blast....so I guess it was worth it in the long run. Here are some of my favorite pics. Oh and no, I don't have 4 girls....we had an extra friend tag along for the weekend. The 3 blondes are mine!
Apparently Emmie saw something pretty awesome!

Then we had a roller skating b-day party to go to on Sunday afternoon. My 3 year old daughter pretty much skated non-stop for 2.5 hours! It was her first time skating and we really thought she would last only a few minutes and then be done with it. NOPE! She did not want to stop. She loved every second of it....except of course, when I tried to take her off of the rink! Yah, and see these pics of us....um, that's pretty much what I did for the whole 2.5 hours. I chose to forgo my Sunday afternoon run because I got enough of a work out doing this! Oh and that little purple girl in the background, is my other daughter who didn't want to stop either (even though she kept falling down, as you can see)....guess they are determined just like me!
I'm going to have fun scrapping these photos!

Now onto the sneak peek part of today's post. I have something a little special for you today. Here's an actual page that I made with my new set of templates. Yup, I actually scrapped (I had it done before this crazy weekend).

So I think you can guess what the theme is! And there are 2 template sets coming out this week. I used Tracey Howard's new kit called What's Your Story.

So look for these new template coming out on Thursday and if you want a chance to win both sets ($8 worth) then leave a comment here letting me know if you did anything special this weekend and if you plan on scrapping about it.

Liz, we did do something special, we went to a spaghetti benefit dinner for my daughter's teacher's son who became paralyzed after a car crash (he is in his 20's). It was nice to see how many in the community came out in support of this family during a difficult time. I won't scrap about it (no pictures), but it was definitely something special.

What a fun weekend you had!! Enjoy this time with your family. This weekend we finished up my oldest son's science fair experiment using different sodas and mentos. All of the kiddos had fun watching, measuring, and helping. I do plan on scrapping some of these fun pictures.

I would LOVE to win! Let's see, last weekend my daughters & I did a scavenger hunt at the mall for girl scouts, followed by selling cookies at our first booth sale. I also got to take an artsy class at the scrapbooking store on Sunday where I played with paint and canvas. Very fun! I remember skating just like you did with my youngest who was 3 at the time last year. Your back and legs certainly get a workout!

Nothing too special this weekend. It was one of those rare relaxing times. I got a chance to scrap and hubby did a great job cleaning up our cluttered kitchen. It's sooo nice now! Probably won't scrap about it though even though it would be a creative challenge to scrap about my clean kitchen lol.

Last weekend was very special. Because there was family gathering at my house. It was fun and everyone seemed very enjoy.
I think nothing could make us happier than surrounded by people that we LOVE. Rite?! ;)
And of course I do have plan to scrap that precious moment.
thank you so much for the chance :)

Something special.. Don't know if it's special but it was definitely hilarious!! Here's the story: me and my bestie went to watch the Ireland vs Wales rugby match as we're both massive Irish rugby supporters. It didn't take long before we scored an awesome try and I cheered and.... lost my glasses!! Thankfully it landed on the table and not on the floor. Too bad we didn't have photos of it, do have some cute photos of her cute doggie Patou aka Diva to scrap.
Thanks for a chance to win Liz and for the photos of your cute family :)

Oooh, I'd love to win! Last weekend we were all sick :( It got so bad that both of my sons (2 1/2 yr twins) had to wear their bathing suits since their pants were all dirty! I did get pictures and will have to figure out a kit to use with it but I can't decide between a pool or medical kit!

We recently bought our first house, so we were out shopping for the house over the weekend. It's amazing how fast things add up! Once all the craziness settles down around here I'll have to do quite a few layouts about our new adventure!

Last weekend we made a big lot of 7,5 kg pasta sauce. I like to have our freezer stocked up with it 'cause it makes a nice, quick and easy meal when we get home late.

I did make pictures of it once, but haven't scrapped them but who knows maybe one day.

My son had his usual guitar lesson (first exam next weekend!!), and then we drove to the breach & let him dig to his hearts content & make fun pictures in the snad. I always have very good intensions of scrapping the photos I took - but I never seem to do it (too intimidated by all the white space!), hence I tend to stick to hybridy things. One day though....!

Our next door neighbors moved away this weekend, so we spent Saturday through Tuesday helping them pack up the truck, sell some of their extra stuff, and clean the house. So sad to see them go! And I'm exhausted!!! Thanks for the chance to win your new temps. :-)

Our weekend was filled with a bunch of fun little things -- birthday party, bbq with family, working on the pinewood derby car, going to a movie. It was also filled with some not so fun things -- laundry, vacuuming. Thanks for this chance. It looks like a quilting theme. Combining scrapping with quilting is like a dream come true for me!

The template sneak peek looks like a fun quilt! We had a little family get-together this weekend to celebrate the birth of my third son and to welcome my brother-in-law's girlfriend back from her trip abroad. Thanks for the chance.

Sounds like fun. Just curious if you are from Georgia because I am. Could be why I love your templates so much. Glad you had a good time at the Aquarium.
