My Walls - My Style

Just recently I decorated a wall in my daughter's bedroom (see below) and when I was decorating it I thought about how my wall decorating style is very similar to the way I scrapbook. I like lots of photos/frames/pictures with a linear style. You will rarely find a single photo or picture on any of my walls and I can almost say the same thing for my scrapbook pages. You will rarely find me scrap just a single image. That's just how I roll.

So I thought I would show you some of my walls.

This is what you see when you walk into our house. Yes, those are blank photo frames you see....um, I'm afraid to admit it, but they've been like that for about a year. This is another reminder to myself that I need to get some pictures printed! Oh and the two older pics you see are my grandparents on their wedding day.....my favorite part of this wall!

Another favorite wall. I made silhouettes of my girls and then framed them. Read more about how I did that here. Plus those are old scrapbooks from my grandma and the two vases are also from my grandmother. And yes, that's a dying plant you see there....one thing I am NOT good at

I have a few of these multi-photo frames around the house.

I just had to show you this wall. I used magnetic paint. Let me just tell you that it was a pain in the butt! 5 coats later and I still had to order special strong magnets just so it would work. Either way I really do love it. I love that it can change daily and the girls are free to put their art work up there as they please. I guess this might not really be considered linear style, would it? The frame is...I guess but not what is inside.

Another wall in our school room. Even among the messiness of it I have nice clean lines.

Here's the wall in my office. I didn't just like the one corkboard so I had to add the clock and the little frame.

A wall where I only have one item....but it's nice and big where it takes up almost the whole space. This was a very recent pinterest project.

And this is a wall I need to decorate.....but I'm waiting. Some of you know that my husband and I are going through an adoption process. We could hear about our little girl any day now and I'm saving this wall just for her. I have some ideas but I don't want to do anything until we know who she is....then I can make a special wall just for her.
