My ABC Printed Album

Just last week I released my new set of ABC Album Templates and guess what? I actually made a whole album with these templates and it turned out AMAZING! So that's what I'm going to show you today.

If you are wondering where my normal Monday sneak peek is you'll have to wait until Wednesday. I have a super special collabe releasing this week and you'll get your sneak peek on Wednesday. So make sure you come back then to see the sneak peek and enter the giveaway. I promise, you will NOT want to miss it.

Okay, on to the album.
Besides my ABC Album Templates I also used Kay Millers Beary Beary Sweet kit, a ladybug in one of Secret Stash's kits (sadly, she just retired), Epoxy Buttons Neutral and Epoxy Buttons Color by SuzyQ Scraps.
I wanted to create an album for our newest daughter, Lydia. She's in China right now but we will be going very soon to go pick her up. Read more about our adoption here. Since all of my other girls have albums I thought it might be nice to have something all ready for her (although I will definitely be making more albums for her!). This will be an album that we can take with us to China and it will have pictures of her, her forever family, home, etc... I'm hoping it will be a fun book for us to look at together and something she will treasure when she is older.

To make it I kept it pretty simple, stuck to one digital scrapbook kit and I kept the details simple because I knew I might get overwhelmed with trying to finish 27 pages! I worked on a few pages everyday and had it done in about two weeks. I did need a little help thinking of creative words to use in my album and I found this scrapbook site very helpful.

I used Adorama Pix to print my album because I had a coupon for 45% off a 10x10 album. I used them once before to make a portfolio of my work and I was very pleased with it. The colors are superb, the quality is amazing and I love the way the books lay flat. Oh, and not to mention that it was super easy to upload my pages and layout my book on their website.

That looks pretty good, wouldn't you say?

Here's a quick snippet of all the pages in my book.

There are so many ways these template can be used....this is just one way. If you happen to use these templates to create an album leave me a link here to your album (because I would LOVE to see it)  and I'll get you a special discount to my store.

See you Wednesday for a sneak peek and giveaway!

Liz - Love the example and the shot of the Adorama binding. That is so helpful when we all look for printers. I do have a question about it, is the binding stitch bound? Does it look like it will hold up. Thanks!!

That looks really fantastic. I tried to do a abc book for my youngest ages ago, but after a few pages it just seemed to get to be more work than I was ready for. I think I might have to grab your templates and try again. :o)

Mary-It looks like it's glued. I think it will hold up nicely...although I don't know with a 2 year old handling it. I think it will be a special book that we only look at together.
