A Typical Week Using Daily Life List Templates

A while ago I released these Daily Life List Templates. When I was designing them I knew I wanted to use them. I especially wanted to have a page that documented the time frame of our day. The first template in the set was perfect.

I finally got around to scrapping it, and this is what a typical week looks like for me and my kids.

Here are a couple of tips when using this template:

1. Take your time. This layout actually took me a couple weeks to finish up. I scrapped it, added my journaling, and then had to take some pictures during the week. Actually, you could totally eliminate the photo spots and just do text.

2. You'll want to play with the leading and tracking of the text. It'll help you fit your text on the lines. If you aren't sure about all the ways to play with the text check out this little bit of info. It'll help you a ton.

I think I'm going to add this page to my Daily Life Album that I've been working on during the year. After all, it shows what 2014 has looked like so far. I'm sure the second half of 2014 is going to look a little different....I might have to do another page at the end of the year to compare!

The next template I'm going to use in this set is the Lists page. I want to ask my kids what some of their favorite things are, and it'll be the perfect template since we'll have 5 kids soon! Hmmm, maybe I planned it that way. ;) Of course, you could easily adjust it to fit any size family. When I get my Lists page done I'll be sure to share it with you.
