GSO Winner!

Please join me and congratulating Janice (jaharvey) on winning this month’s GSO!

She competed against some awesome competition but her nature layout shined the brightest! We love this layout using the Keepin' It Real Double Templates for its beautiful nature photography that pops against a dark background and lights the page from within. Truly elegant and beautiful.

Visit Janice's gallery to leave her some 'love' on this gorgeous layout.

We had a chance to ask Janice some questions about her scrapping and this what she had to say...

What layout are you currently working on or planning to start next?
We're actually in Maui on vacation right now, so I'm pretty sure my next bunch of pages will be vacation ones! When we get home, we'll start decorating for Halloween, so I'll be doing some seasonal pages, too. We do a lot of walks and hikes, and I am really looking forward to including some fall colours in my layouts.

When did you start scrapping and who or what got you started?
I started digi scrapping about 3 years ago, but paper scrapping a few years before that. A friend of mine was selling scrapbook supplies through home parties and got me started. Originally I intended just to rescue pre-digital photos from old albums, but then I got hooked. Ironically, I've only scrapped maybe 1/4 of the old photos so far. There's just so many new photos to keep up with. I'd like to do childhood albums for my kids before they have kids of their own. We have 25-year-old twin girls and a 27-year-old son ... I guess I'd better get going on those!

What is your favorite layout, you created using a Scrapping with Liz product?
Hmm, so hard to choose. I've used a lot of SWL templates. I love the simple designs, as I like to focus on the photos. I'm rather partial to my Victoria day trip page, it actually includes two SWL templates: one for the page and one for a journal card.

Thank you to all you voters! Random-dot-org selected number 11, mattcindi, as the winner of $5 to Liz's store in the Vote and Win drawing!
