Daily Life Week 47: Almost No Photos!

Daily Life Templates 12 by Scrapping with Liz

Kraft Paper Pack by Etc. by Danyale
Must Watch Templates by Scrapping with Liz
I almost forgot to take pictures last week. It was just one of those crazy weeks where I just didn't pick up my camera or even really use my phone a whole lot. I think I just had too much on my mind! We were getting ready for a big trip, lots of doc appointments and I was trying to finish up school with the kids so we could take a week off. I did manage to put together enough for a page. I did replace one of the spots with a QR code.

This week, though, we are visiting family in Florida (by the way, Happy Thanksgiving!) and I've already taken enough pictures to fill a whole album. It's going to be tough figuring out what to put on my weekly page.

Anyway, I'll let you read about last week below, and make sure you grab the free journal card template.

Journaling: This week was kind of normal with some special stuff thrown in. Here’s a photo at the grocery store as we were checking out (pretty normal). I have a lot of little helpers. I took a photo of me scrapping (it’s sort of what I do for fun!) I’m trying hard to work on Matthew’s album. It’s what I do if the work is done and the kids are in bed. Ashlyn and Emmie babysat a couple of kids this week. I just love this pic I snapped of Emmie looking over the baby. She was definitely in her element.

Journaling: Lydia almost always grabs a book and ‘reads’ first thing in the morning. I love it.
We had an early Thanksgiving meal at Grandma’s house which also included taking family photos. Here’s a sneak peek at all the cousins and an accidental picture of Shawn and Matthew that I happen to love. We also attended a Borrower’s b-day party. The girls had so much fun making their own little Borrower’s homes out of shoe boxes and misc. household items. They came home and decorated it even more.

Here's your free journal card templates:

And don't forget the $1 sale is still going on at Scrap Orchard and I have over 25 items you can grab for just $1! The sale ends December 1!

Do you look forward to Scrap Orchard's Farmer's Market? It comes twice a year, and one of those times is "Black Friday." In case it is new to you, Farmer's Market is a semi-annual $1 sale.

Each designer places brand new products and a collection of older products on sale for $1. Items can only be placed in the Farmer's Market once, so you can be guaranteed it is the lowest price you will ever see for them. It's so fun! The $1 Sale lasts through Monday, December 1, 2014.

Liz will post here later this week with a look at ALL of her products in the sale. Today I have the pleasure of sharing the brand new products. First up is Multi-Photo Wavy Templates, a bold set of full-page designs with wavy edged clipping masks.

Newsletter & Card Round Up

It's about that time of year when you start thinking about sending out Christmas cards or Newsletters, or maybe you are on the ball and you've already finished yours. Good for you! If you are like me it's kind of in the back of your mind but you are waiting for Thanksgiving to pass before really getting down to business.

I thought I would take a look through my store to see what I have released in the past that might help you with your Christmas newsletters or cards. Some of these are oldies but still goodies.  I've marked them all down to 40% OFF until December 1st. That way, instead of just thinking about doing it (like me), you can actually be proactive and get started.

I created these quite a while ago, but they would still work for 2014 Newsletters.

I created these last year. These are fun for an infographic type newsletter. Just think of all those fun facts you could include on your card.

And look at these. All the way back from 2010! These are classics. Great for writing that traditional newsletter and lots of places for photos. (just remember, these do not include .page files....for you .page file users)

On to cards. Wow! After browsing my store I realized I need to be working on some more card templates. I did find two sets that could work as Christmas cards or even invites for Christmas parties. (again, the 2nd set does not come with .page files, but it does come with .png files that you can use)

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about those Christmas letters and cards. Remember, grab any of the sets above at 40% OFF through December 1st.

And just a reminder that I have my $1 sale coming up tomorrow...and there might be some more newsletter/card style templates for you to grab during the sale. There's also still time to enter the giveaway to win all 8 of my new products!
