2016 Plans: Sneak Peek & Giveaway

Before I tell you what my 2016 Scrapping goals are I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of my first release over at The Lilypad. I guess you could say my first goal for 2016 is open my shop over at TLP! On the first Friday of each month the designers release coordinating BYOC (build your own collab) products. So, that will be my first release on Friday! I'm so excited about it. If it looks like something you want just enter the giveaway below. I'll announce the winner Friday morning on the blog.

Now, go on and read about what my scrapping goals are for 2016, and you'll even hear about some new template releases. I am so excited about 2016!

For the last three years I've scrapped my weekly photos at the end of each week. I'm planning on doing the same in 2016, and I have some other fun plans. I thought I would lay them out here and if you want to join me in any of them you can, plus it will keep me accountable.

2016 Scrapping Goals:

1. Scrap a double page layout at the end of each week documenting my family's daily life.

2. Scrap a 2017 calendar page at the end of each month. I'll have a complete calendar to print at the end of the year without having to scramble. I did it for 2016 and simply loved it.

3. Scrap a recipe page/card each month, possibly each week if I have time. I want to print a complete recipe album at the end of the year.

4. Scrap a month in review page at the end of the month to recap our month. I thought this might make a nice little album for each of the kids. It'll be small enough and cheap enough that I could print one for each of the kids

For each of these goals I will have templates sets I'll be creating and using. They'll be available for purchase at the Lilypad! I'll also be offering lots of inspiration on the blog for each of these goals. I do hope you'll join me in some of them.

My goal is to continue my annual album (and get it printed!), as well as to stay on top of special occasion albums too. I haven't printed my summer album yet, even though it is done and uploaded to Shutterfly. So maybe print that 90 page monster. (My 2015 album is looking to clock in at 104 pages so there's a reason summer got its own album.)

Um, I think you already told us where you'll be!
I'm so looking forward to seeing new recipe templates as I love your last ones!
I have to admit, I loved when Shutterfly offered a free calendar and my pages were all ready to go, no stressing about them, just upload and print! I may have to do it again this year...

Anne - Yes, they will have photo spots!

Brenda - those are great goals! And looks like you've done a good job keeping up with your 2015 goals.

Courtney - Ha! I totally wrote this blog post in two settings! Just fixed it.

I'm so happy to hear the monthly calendar pages will be back for 2016. I absolutely loved these. I'm also excited for the monthly re-cap. Since I can't seem to keep up with weekly layouts, this year I think I'm going to just try to do one monthly double-pager and call that enough. If I want to go back and scrap special events, I can, but at least I'll have something documented!!!

I am really excited about the recipe album! I want to do that as well! I have made a recipe page a few months ago when a colleague left our school and we were all asked to give a recipe and an ingredient. It was great fun!
