Week 44 & 45 and why I've been silent....

You might notice that my Week 44 page is a little late and my Week 45 page isn't finished. Last week my sister lost her baby girl (at the beginning of Week 45). She was due to have her on November 16th, but ended up in an emergency c-section due to placental abruption. It was one of the saddest moments of my life...and one of the hardest weeks. Not only did I lose a niece, but I also hate seeing my family in so much pain.

I hadn't done my Week 44 page the night before, and I just couldn't bring myself to scrap. I still can't bring myself to finish Week 45. I only took 4 photos, and I know I might want to add a picture of my niece, she was so beautiful and perfect. I'm going to wait and try to finish at the end of the year. How do you scrap during times like these?

Anyway, here's what the past two weeks looked like.

I am so sorry for your loss, also.

When my daddy died July 2014 I put those two weeks surrounding his death together. And I didn't finish them for a few weeks. It's still hard to look at that book. I know it's coming and it makes me sad.

Then six weeks later my uncle, my dad's brother, died. I put those two weeks together, too. I had a plan and knew what to do at that point. It's sad. And hard.

I will keep you and your family close in my prayers.

I am sooooo sorry for the incredible loss your family experienced. I think it is completely understandable to put that layout on hold. In time it may be easier to complete it. Lifting your family up.

My heart aches for you, your sister and all of your families. This kind of loss is so hard to understand, but I pray that time will help you heal. We lost a granddaughter at birth 8 years ago - we will never forget her, but the pain of losing her is now bearable. We think of her often with love. Blessings to you as you travel a difficult journey to healing.
