What a week it was. I'll start by saying one little four letter word: LICE! I wouldn't be telling the whole story on this week's page if I didn't mention it. The first time since being a mom that I've experienced this. I suspect two of my girls got it from camp and a couple others caught it from them. It pretty much consumed my week, but I think I can safely say we've gotten rid of it after much combing and lots of laundry.  We were still able to get some fun and normal stuff in: bowling, water play, hiking, card games, reading, school, yummy dinner prepared by my older girls, etc...

Lydia and I both cut our very long hair. It wasn't too fun, but at least we got to do it together.

My older son has been reminding me that he's never been bowling. What kind of mom am I? He's been home 3 years and we've yet to do this. Well, we took care of that this week. What a fun experience. Even for Abi and Isaac. I wish I could have captured some of Isaac's sweet dance moves. He would break out in dance every time he rolled the ball.

Despite the lice it was still a fun week with lots of memories made.

I managed to also scrap my July calendar page this past weekend. I'm really loving how these are coming together each month.
