Hello and Happy August!
Here in the States, kids are heading back to school and summer vacations
are coming to an end. While that makes
me sad, I have to say writing the Gallery Stand Out post brightens my spirit
and jump starts my mojo once again. CTM
Robin here to share with you some layouts that I’ll be scraplifting soon!
First is this one by Angela Toucan:
I particularly love the message but also the way it looks as if that piece of paper came directly from the envelope. Her background paper and brushwork are gorgeous too, and the style on the title is super fun. It’s a stunning layout!
Next is this one by Vrielinkie:
Sometimes the simplest layouts say the most. You can feel the joy and happiness on this
page (there is a second one which continues the story). Her title work perfectly mixes and matches different
font styles and colors. It’s like
reading a newsletter!
Here is this layout by sharonb:
This is a moving page of her dad and I think it’s wonderful
that she scrapped a photo with him and then the spreading of his ashes. The colors, brushwork, and rainbows just emit
feelings of hope during a sad time. It’s
a beautiful tribute to him for sure.
Take a peek of this one by jam-on-toast:
I love the way she captured the year of changes - family
changes, cultural changes, living changes, etc.
Her photo is eye capturing, but her story and the timeline are what
makes this page. What a great way to
document their lives!
Lastly, I wanted to show off this layout by
familyhistoryscrapper:
I love the book like layout with the photo strip and main
photo paperclipped to the pages. Her
color choices go beautifully with those photos and the bits and pieces tucked
in really make you feel like this is an actual journal. It’s such a lively page and tells a great
story!
Well, that’s it for me this month. I hope you enjoyed seeing these layouts as
much as I did. Feel free to leave some
love in the gallery for these talented scrappers!
