Week 50 & 51

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I was actually able to sit down at the end of the day and finish up these pages! So, here are the last couple of weeks from my house. We had dance recitals, parties, science experiments, cookie decorating, games, and Christmas Eve.

Envelope For Real Templates & Trimmed Templates

It's just a couple of days before Christmas, and while these aren't necessarily Christmas-themed templates, they sure would make some fun Christmas pages!

NEW Trimmed Templates 2 - Another in my Trimmed series. These have some fun custom, doily-type banners that you can dress up. Hang your pictures on some pretty trims.

NEW Envelope For Real Templates - These templates include some real envelopes that you can stuff with photos and journaling. I've also included a step-by-step picture tutorial showing how to give them a real look.

It was a busy weekend with little time to scrapbook, but I finished this page and got started on week 50. December always seems to be filled with rehearsals, recitals, end-of-year parties, shows, etc. Along with other Christmas activities like cookie baking, gingerbread house making, present shopping, and wrapping, etc. It sure does make for some fun pages and memories, though.

Timeline Templates

I have one new template set for you this week: Timeline Templates. These templates are going to help you tell your timeline. It could be used for a lifetime, an event, or different memories! There are two different styles. They come in 24x12 and individual 12x12 pages. You can easily use them together or individually.

Step-by-Step

Hello! CTM Robin here to bring you another Step-by-Step blog post. This month I wanted to work with a template from Liz’s Artsy JournalTemplate 32 set.

I truly, truly, truly feel like journaling helps me deal with emotions, and these templates give me a big text box to add that journaling to my layouts. Let me show you what I mean. First, I started with the fourth template in the set:

Next, I clipped my photos to the photo spots.

Then, using artCrush #57 by NBK Design, I added my papers since this kit focuses more on the journaling rather than the elements.

After that was done, I selected my elements and played around with them until I was happy.

Finally, I added my title and text.

I scrapped about my mom’s dog and how Heidi has been dealing with losing my mom. Just getting these words out made me feel better, and I’m so grateful for this series of templates, which help me tell my stories!
