Week 24 and 25!

I finished up weeks 24 and 25 this weekend. It's been a busy couple of weeks with lots of summer activities...and another accident! Thankfully everyone is fine.

You'll notice with a few pages that I added and changed around some photo spots and moved around the title spots. I've been sharing more of my scrapbooking process on my Instagram if you are interested in seeing how I scrap and change up these templates to make them work with my photos.

Remember Templates 7 and Inspiration

Here's the next in my Remember Series. I've been designing and using these each week to scrap my weekly pages. Each set flows together, with a little bit of newness to make them fun to scrap with, with current dates and week titles. They are also easy to adjust to work with your photos.

Step-by-Step

 Hello!  CTM Robin here with another Step-by-Step blog post to share with you.  This month I’m using Liz’s fun Little Notes template set.

First, I clipped my photos in and cropped them appropriately.  My son competed in a junior level speech and debate tournament, and I’m super excited to be able to scrap so many photos on a page without overwhelming the layout!

Next, I spent time picking and choosing my papers. This template allowed me to use a few papers from Bombay Crush by NBK Designs, but I also had fun using the Edit>Fill and patterns to color the tag and back paper too!

After papers, I added just a few elements, making sure I used the pop of yellow throughout the page so my eyes didn’t stop in any one particular point.

Lastly, I downloaded the free Shorelines Script Bold font from dafont and changed my title and journaling to tell my son’s story (after catching the fact that I missed a washi tape!!).

That’s it!  Another layout completed lickity-split thanks to Liz’s easy to use Little Notes template set!  I hope you had fun seeing my process and that you love these templates as much as I do.  See you next month 😊

NEW Artsy Journal Templates 31! These are some of my favorite styles to design. I always have so much fun piecing these together. I hope you'll have as much fun scrapping with them. There are lots of notebook layers, torn paper, different shapes, journaling spots, and some element placements.

This week felt like the first official week of summer. We had a picnic with our church family, which included grilling out and swimming, that's pretty much the epitome of summer, right? We went on our 2nd annual family trip with my side of the family. It included hiking, a museum, talent show, rec center swimming, food, games, and more! It was a fun and relaxing week all around. It made for a hard time choosing which pictures to scrapbook. I took so many! I adjusted the templates just a bit and added a few more photo spots so I could include more of the memories. That's one thing I love about this Remember series.

This past week included something new for our family. We entered the world of dance this past year. Two of my girls are taking ballet lessons, and they had their first recital. It was a crazy, busy week, but it was quite fun. My other daughter finally got to record a few songs with her winnings from last year's talent contest. We also followed the airplanes that took my oldest to Spain for the summer. Then we did some normal things like yard work, hangingout  with friends, and eating ice cream.
