This week was full of so much goodness. An early morning hike with friends to watch the sunrise over the mountains, dinner made by my daughters, school, birthdays and more. I love sitting down every Saturday night, going over my pics from the week and putting together a page. It gives me a reminder that my life is blessed. So blessed.

Week 31: School, Festivals, Birthdays....

It was another week filled with a lot of different fun activities. We are winding up summer and slowly getting into the school work but also trying to enjoy a last few summer activities. We tubed down the river, hung out with friends, enjoyed the Family Festival at our church, and celebrated dad's birthday along with normal activities around the house.

August BYOC: Fun Shape Templates 1 and 2

It's the first Friday of the month, so Build Your Own Collab is here! Liz has two template sets with lots of fun shapes: trapezoids, and triangles, wavy squares, and overlapping rectangles. With full page and white space designs, there is something for everyone. Week 30: Celebrating, LOA and more Celebrating!

The last week in July is always filled with lots of celebrating. Our wedding anniversary, my birthday and then hubby's birthday all falls within a few days of each other.  You can take a look at the page to see what we did to celebrate....a simple, but fun celebration.

Then in other big news we got our LOA (letter of approval) from China! China has said we can officially adopt Abigail and Isaac. Now we just have some immigration paperwork and travel approval stuff. It'll just be a couple more months and they will be coming home!

Most of my pics this week were taken with my DSLR. I need to remind myself everyday that I love it so much better than my phone camera. I don't really notice it until I go to look at my pictures at the end of the week. Hoping to remember to take more photos with it!
