December's MIS Inspiration

On the first Saturday night of the month my creative team member, Tracy, faithfully hosts a Templates MIS (Make it Snappy). It's a fun way to get a page scrapped quickly and there are always fun instructions to follow. Plus if you participate you get a coupon to my store and you might even win $$$ to my store.

Last month I shared the MIS instructions and inspiration on the blog from November's MIS, and for those of you who don't participate in the MIS on the 1st Saturday night of the month I thought you might also have fun with the challenge from December. Plus the inspiration always gets me motivated to scrapbook.

I'll share some of my favorite pages first and then post the instructions below.

There were so many great pages to choose from. I had a hard time just picking a few. I truly love seeing them all. This one is by Marilyn. I love the plaid background she chose and then her scatter of elements. It's just right.

This one is by Tracie. That plaid with the dark blue! I love it.

This one is by Julie. I love all her patterns!

Jenn scrapped this beautiful page. That light blue patterned background with those black and white photos is stunning.

Diane scrapped this lovely page. I love those frames and clusters!

Instructions from Tracy:

1. Have a checked/plaid/graph patterned background paper. Basically, I'm looking for lines that cross :)
2. Have two photos.
3. Have three spots of journaling/words; one of which is the title and another is the date or location.
4. Have three free-standing (not the center of flowers) buttons. Note: you can use buttons as the center of flowers, they do not count towards your three.
5. Have six flowers or stars (you cannot have both).

If you didn't participate in the forum but still complete this challenge share your pages here. I'd love to see them!
