This week included a few extra fun things added to our normal weekly goings on. We had a long trip over the audiologist, a trip to Atlanta to shop at the Asian Markets, a talent show with our homeschool group, our first green egg and a new painting class. Lots of fun!

I don't know what happened but I ended up not taking very many photos this week. I only have one picture of our snow day and that's because Matthew wanted to get a picture of his "igloo", and then I borrowed a picture that my SIL took in our homeschool class this week with Isaac's class. If it wasn't for those I don't know that I would have had enough to fill these templates! But I think it turned out nicely and tells the story of our week.

Journal with Photos Templates

I had so much fun designing my Journal Shape Templates that I thought I would design some with photo spots. Now you can scrap the photo and write the story behind it. These are 20% OFF at the Lilypad this weekend!

Step-by-Step

Happy February! CTM Robin here with another Step-by-Step layout featuring one of Liz’s templates. This month I picked the Artsy Journal Templates 10 pack since I fell in love with the chevrons! Like all the other templates in Liz’s store, this one was super fun to use. First, I clipped my photos in the photo spots:

Next, I added my title and some amazing elements from Just Jaime’s Road Trip Storyteller August 2017 add on kit. I loved that I was able to tweak the template's word strips in my title and didn’t have to create my own from scratch!

Once all these items were in place, I played around with the various papers and clipped them to the template:

Finally, I tweaked my shadows by putting them on their own layers and using my smudge tool. Then I added my journaling and voila! My page is done in no time at all.
