It's GSO Time!

Y’all, it’s almost the end of May!!  Can you believe that?  Here in the States, most people are finishing up the school year and trying to fit in all those spring sports, band concerts, choir concerts, exams, and whatever else kids are doing.  I find May even busier than December and I’m ready for June to get here!  Right now, scrapping time is severely limited, so I need to just scraplift layouts from the gallery and get pages done.  I found some lovely ones in that I will be using as a jumpstart this week.  Let me show you the eye candy I found 😊

This first layout is by Trish:

I love seeing prom pictures so of course this drew my attention immediately.  Her wood background is so pretty behind the photos and the word strip is too funny!

Oh my!! I had to show you this one by djp332:

Both mom and daughter have great smiles that just fill my heart with joy.  I love the big photo as well as the smaller one taken from a different perspective.  Such a cheerful page!

I also love it when designer scraps, so of course I wanted to show off this page by ninigoesdigi:

Don’t you admire the way she curved the stitching around the circle and mimicked that shape with both her text and journaling??  Very cool!

I’m a huge fan of being out in nature so I couldn’t resist putting this page here by Vrielinkie:

I adore the multi-circle frame and how she’s repeated the circle shape throughout the page.  Love the geometry and symmetry on this page!

As a lifetime member of WW, I wanted to highlight this page by KayTeaPea:

She’s done an amazing job of achieving her goals and I love that she scrapped her accomplishments too.  So often we scrap everyone else’s successes but not our own.  Way to go KayTeaPea!

Well, that’s it for me this month.  I’m off to try to catch up on my scrapping which I know will go faster tonight now that I’ve seen these gorgeous layouts.  Please be sure to click on the forum names and leave some well-deserved love in the gallery and come back next month for some more picks!
