Another week of 2023 is done. We celebrated Chinese New Year and had a Science Fair walkthrough. Other than that, it was a pretty normal week around here. Again, these pages came together so quickly. Love it!

Week 3 is done and scrapped! We had a pretty normal week around here. The highlight was probably taking my 2nd oldest to audition at our local university to get into their college of music. I can't believe I have another one graduating.

I'm loving these Simple Life Templates for my weekly scrapping. I'm loving the white background. I think that helps me put these pages together in minutes.

First Pages of 2023!

Woohoo! My first 2 weeks of 2023 are done. I'm using my new Simple Life Templates and I love how these first few turned out and how easy and simple they were to put together. One of my goals was to keep these super simple so that I would have more time for some of my other scrapbooking projects. I also used Au Naturel by Micheline Lincoln to add a few elements/papers to my page. 

Our first week was pretty exciting with my son winning 1st in his division at the USA Archery State Competition! We also are getting back into our normal school routine. It always takes a bit after having a break.

I realized I never made a cover page for my 2022 Album! My kids have been begging me to order it, and I needed to make a cover page before ordering. And now I can say that it's officially complete, and just for fun, I put together this video showing all the pages from my 2022 family album. 

I used my Remember Templates and various kits from The Lilypad to create this album. Now to focus on my 2023 album.

Week 52 - 2022 Complete!

The final page of my 2022 Family Album is done! It was a fun-filled, relaxing week. We baked, read books, played games, shopped, partied... It was a good way to wrap up 2022.

Now I'll be figuring out how I'm going to print this album. Last year I used Blurb. I'm leaning that way again, but I'm not sure. I'll be keeping my eye out for the best prices.

I designed some new My Travel Journal Templates, that will help you digitally create a travel journal page. They have plenty of photo spots and places to journal about your memories.

I also designed some 2022 Cover Templates. I know that it's 2023, but I thought you all might be finishing up those 2022 albums and need a cover page. These are super easy to use and will help you put together a cover page in minutes!

2022 Reflections and 2023 Goals!

It's time for my annual reflection post. When I first sat down to add up my pages from 2022, I thought it would be one of my least scrapped years. I knew I had finished my biggest goal of scrapping my 2022 family album (yay!), but I couldn't really remember what else I had accomplished this year. I forgot that I had almost completed Month of Challenges at the Lilypad (it's starting again, you should join in!)! I'm slightly disappointed in myself for coming soooo close, but also pretty happy with myself that I was able to scrap 26 challenges at the beginning of the year. Can I be disappointed and satisfied with myself at the same time?

When I took a look at my past years, I saw that I really didn't scrapbook a whole lot less than some of the other years. I actually scrapped more than last year. 

And 10 years of scrapbooking with 1,528 pages. Wow! I can tell you that those 1,528 pages get looked at frequently and have lots of memories documented in them. In fact, my kids are already asking me when we are going to get our 2022 album so they can look at it.

Looking back at my 2022 goals, it looks like I accomplished two out of three album goals. I completed my 2022 family album, and I completed as many MOC pages as I could. Sadly, I did not work on a 2021 DYD album. That's okay, I can always go back and work on that. My kids can look at the Christmas pics in our family album.

Here are my 2023 goals:

• Complete a weekly double-page family album using my new Simple Life Templates. (you should join me!)
• Finish Emmie's graduation album. She graduates from High School this year. I've already started on it, with 2 pages finished.
• Instead of trying a DYD album, I'm going to try and make a 30 Days of Gratitude Album. I was inspired by some albums during November. I want to make a page with something I'm thankful for on each page. I think I'm going to use my Unwrap the magic Templates for these.
