What drew me into this layout was the clustering and title work in the center of the page. Sarah's clustering and shadowing is gorgeous. I love her scatters around the page as well. The basic neutral papers with pops of color also make this page stand out. Great job, Sarah!

Make sure to upload your pages to the SwL Gallery on my facebook page. I love seeing them each week, and I frequently pick out a page to be highlighted here on my blog.

Monday Highlight: Warm Wishes by Timmi

Using Artsy Journal Templates 17
I saw this page last week in the SwL Gallery on Facebook. The fun decorations immediately stood out to me. What a fun and unique way to decorate for Christmas. I think it's an equally fun and unique way to scrap this page as well. The fun elements, the staples, the torn paper, the mix of text and titles. I love it! Timmi did a great job capturing these photos.

Before you all head off to your normal Monday routine make sure you don't forget about the quarterly sale going on at The Lilypad. My entire store is 30% OFF through the end of the day.

Summertime by Kristin Aagard
Hello Monday! Are you ready for another week? I think I am.

I have a page here by Timmi that stood out to me last night as I was browsing the SwL Gallery in my facebook group. The black and white photos on top of all those colors really grabbed my attention. The amount of elements seems just right to not detract from the photos.  I love how she captured her daughter playing from all different directions. Great job, Timmi.

Now, back to normal Monday activities.

Cottage No. 2 by Etc by Danyale

Today's highlight is brought to you by Jill. The pictures on this page stood out to me first. They are just too fun. Then I noticed Jill's title. I love how she embossed the title. The elements are all strategically arranged to add a nice flow to the page without detracting from the photos and story behind the photos. Great page, Jill.

Monday Highlight: Let's Party by Bekki

MBC - May '17 Template  by Scrapping with Liz
Kit: A HUEFUL HOLIDAY by Love It Scrap It
The real highlight of the day (at least here in the US) is Memorial Day and remembering all of those who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom and the freedom of others. I hope you guys will be able to spend time with your families, and I pray for those of you have lost loved ones that have served in the armed forces.

The scrapbook highlight of the day comes from Bekki. This page popped out to me last week. I love her combo of bright colors and how she matched the font with the font in the picture. Doesn't that kit go perfect with those photos? I like matchy-matchy kits and photos. It just makes the page flow so beautifully.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

There were so many gorgeous pages in the gallery this weekend. I think iNSD got everyone's creative juices flowing. This one by Judith stood out to me. I thought the mix of photos and kit were perfect. She has some fun and unique elements, but she also kept it simple enough to focus on the photos. The teal stamp in the background also helps draw your eye into the photos. Congrats Judith!

Monday Highlight: Springtime by Gaelle

Full Credits Here
I spotted this page a few days ago and it stood out to me. I think it's the combo of the white background, the few pops of color and the B&W photos. You can tell that Gaelle took time to add some extra nice little touches like the stitching, word bits, paint splatters and I especially like that little red flower at the top, it's a nice pop of color. I also love that close up of her little boy. Great page, Gaelle.

Hope this inspires some spring pages!

Monday's Highlight: For Those About to Rock by Anne

Uses Kirstin Aagard's "For Those About To Rock" kit and Liz's February 2017 MIS Template
I have a few hours left to get a Monday Highlight in! I had a sick child last night that needed all of my attention, and my normal Sunday night gallery browsing got put on hold. She's all back to normal tonight, and I'm taking a little break and finally looking at all the beautiful pages in the SwL Gallery and TLP Gallery. The first thing I noticed when I saw this page by Anne was that background paper! I love music and it really stood out to me, all of those treble clefs and notes. So I took a closer look at the page. I love how she incorporated a picture of the program and that drum kit element is just amazing. Kristin makes the most rockin' elements (pun intended). Thanks for sharing your page, Anne!

Make sure you post your pages in the current SwL Gallery, and you might be highlighted on the blog and win $$$ to my store.

Off to go catch up on some template making!

I love how Alyna scrapped this photoless page. All the little journal bits around it really convey the feeling that she's trying. I especially love the actually, I can journal bit at the bottom with the pops of color around it. It's like a bright spot in the grey. Her clustering is  gorgeous and the paint splatters on the wood paper give it a nice touch. Nice job, Alyna!

Make sure to post your pages in my facebook group. I like taking a look at what you are creating, plus there's a chance to be highlighted on the blog and win a coupon to my store.

Today's Monday Highlight is brought to you by Laurie. I saw this in my facebook group gallery and loved the simplicity and gorgeous photo. I love the paper she chose to use for the letter V. It gives a feel of the ocean and helps the page to stand out. The little bits of orange also make the page pop. The dark blue paper framing the page really adds to the elegance of the page too.

I hope this Monday's Highlight will give you some inspiration for scrapbooking those special moments this week.
