It's GSO Time!

Wow!  Can you believe May is almost over?  This time of year often finds us quite busy with end-of-the-year school activities, recitals, sports, prepping the garden, and a plethora of other things filling up our days!  Sometimes it can be hard for me to find time to scrap during this season, so I head over to the gallery at The Lily Pad and do some scraplifting.  CTM Robin here to show off some of the many gorgeous layouts I found this month.

First, lets start with this one by cfile:

It’s always special when we preserve our childhood memories.  Cfile does a great job with the picture as well as her journaling, and I especially love the fact that she included a photo of her grownup self as well.  I think we should all make a page just like this!

Next, we have one by garrynkim:

Talk about awe inspiring!  Every album needs a large photo layout in it and this one is amazing.  Not only is that big photo eye catching, but I love the way the angles of the papers draw attention to the little photo as well.  I want to go to Red Rock now after seeing this page!

Here is one by MiekSter:

Her background paper is perfect for this series of photos.  The numbers and word strips really balance the page and that one last photo in black and white just completes the entire artsy vibe.  I can’t wait to lift this page!

Take a peek at this one by mywisecrafts:

It is so clever the way she used the same large photo inside the photo strip.  Additionally, that sun peeking out from the mask is super cute as well.  Also, I’m loving the pops of yellow that really draw your eye around the page.  This is such a fun layout!

The last one I wanted to show you is this sweet page made by EllenT:

Doesn’t your heart melt when you look at it?  The folded background paper perfectly frames the blocked photos, and the title work and word art are flawlessly placed as well.  This layout screams, “AWWW!”

Well, that’s it for me this month.  I hope you have enjoyed the eye candy and that you can find time in your schedule to leave some love in the gallery and scraplift a page or two!
