2025 Documented Album - Printed!

I just received my printed 2025 scrapbook album from Shutterfly, and I’m so excited to finally have it in my hands! I’m sharing a little review below, along with a video so you can flip through the entire album with me.

What I Ordered

10x10 hardcover book
Standard binding
106 matte pages

I waited for a sale and was able to get 50% off!

When the bright orange box arrived in the mail, everyone was eager to open it. I made sure all chores and schoolwork were finished first, though—I knew once we opened it, we’d all want to sit and look through it together.

Here’s the cover—it has a beautiful, glossy shine and feels sturdy and well-made.

I’m sharing a few close-ups of the inside pages. The 10x10 size is perfect: it’s easy to rest on your lap while flipping through, and the fonts are still large enough to read comfortably. Everything looks crisp, and the matte pages give it a soft, high-quality finish.

I used my Documented Templates to design this album, along with various kits from the Hey Scrapper Shop. I’ve bundled everything together for you, and it’s on SALE this weekend. If you prefer, you can also purchase the individual templates separately here.

Week 3: A little more journaling.

Week 3 is complete! I didn’t take many photos this week, so I leaned more heavily into journaling to really tell the story of what our week looked like.

To keep everything cohesive, I stuck with the same color styles I created last week. If you’re interested in creating your own custom color styles, I also have a tutorial up on my YouTube channel walking through the process step by step.

I used my Tell Your Story Templates 1 as the foundation for this page and added a few extra elements to support the story: Back to School Elements by Paislee Press (the Lessons Learned element) and Chalk Talk Papers by Dunia Designs for the patterned paper.

2025 Album Complete!

It’s finished—my 2025 scrapbook album! For the final page, I created a single 12×12 layout since I didn’t take many photos during the last few days of the year. We spent most of that time relaxing around the house, which meant fewer pictures—but honestly, it was the perfect way to rest and reset before the new year.

As I’m typing this, I’m uploading my pages to Shutterfly so I can order the album and take advantage of the sale happening right now!

I really enjoyed creating this year’s album in a photo-pocket style, but I’m especially excited to try something new with my Tell Your Story template series. These have a clean, graphic, zine-inspired feel that I’m loving. For my first page of 2026, I’ll be starting with photos from Thursday, January 1st through Saturday, January 10th as my “first week”—just in case you were wondering how I’m kicking things off.

I’ll be back next weekend to share my very first page of 2026!

It was Christmas week, and there were so many moments I wanted to remember. I’m thankful this page included a large journaling spot—it gave me the space to capture it all. I also managed to scrapbook a few more pages for my daughter’s album, plus another page for my December album and even the cover page. I think this year is wrapping up nicely.

Here are the first two pages of my December album. I'm loving the daily photo prompts and the fact that I can scrapbook three days of photos on one page! It’s making the whole process of documenting December feel simple and totally doable.

Week 48: The Festivities Begin & Another Graduation Page

The festivities have officially begun! We kicked things off with a winter piano recital, followed by decorating for Christmas, our oldest coming home, Thanksgiving, our annual gingerbread house decorating contest, Christmas lighting, and engagement photos. Whew! I’m tired just reading that—but it was so much fun, and we made so many sweet memories.

I also finished another page for my daughter’s album. PLUS, I already have all of her photos placed in templates. Now all I need to do is add papers and elements. Choosing the photos always takes the longest, so I decided to sit down and get everything in digital scrapbook templates through her graduation. I anticipate working through the pages pretty quickly now that the photos are picked and in place.

Week 47: Nutcracker, School, and More!

This week was half consumed by Nutcracker rehearsals and performances, with the rest filled with our usual school routine. The show was wonderful—my girls danced beautifully, along with the rest of the cast. It’s just the beginning of recital season, one of my favorite times of the year.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks around here — a mix of the usual and the unexpected. We’ve had lots of learning, a fun inflatable kickball game, an engagement 😍, a birthday, vibrant fall colors, a celebration of life, and more.
