Step-by-Step

Hello all, CTM Robin here with another Step-by-Step blog post to show you how I combined two of Liz’s products into one layout.  I hope you enjoy seeing my thought process while doing so.

First, I started off with Funky Journal Paths.

Once I opened the template, I realized I didn’t have the font Alberthtshal Typewriter. Luckily, I found it for free at dafont and installed it just because I really liked the way it looked.  Of course, you can use whatever font you like!  Next, I added one cluster from Photo Starters Templates right in the middle of the text path.

I had to enlarge the text path to make room for the cluster, but it was quite easy to do.  Then I added my photo and background paper.

I really wanted to make sure that I chose my paper first since it was quite important to me that I could read the text.  Once that decision was made, I decided to decrease the size of the text so that I could fit more journaling on the page.

I created my journaling and then finally I used a kit called Dear Diary by NBK Design to fill in the elements and word art that I used to complete my page.

Do you see how easy it is to take a few of Liz’s products and create an entirely new page?  I saved this as a template for myself so that I can use it over and over again (in different albums of course!).  Well, that's it for me for now but I'll be back next month with another Step-by-Step post!
