Happy August y’all! CTM Robin here with another Step-by-Step layout to share with you. One of the greatest things I love about Liz’s templates is the fact that I can turn them or combine them with other templates to create a unique layout. This truly helps stretch my stash and I’m going to show you exactly what I mean. I'm going to start with a template from Liz's Big Photo Templates 11 set:
Then, I added the photos of my grandson playing with bubbles.
I decided I really liked Liz’s Scallopy Edges:
I can see me using these over and over again both on my digital layouts and also on my hybrid cards! I snuck one of them between the two layers on top:
Once I’d finished manipulating the template, I added circle papers from Bella Gypsy’s Hey There Handsome kit to mimic the bubbles in the photo as well as a grey paper that closely resembles the shape of the scallops.
Finally, I added my elements, changed out the title, and added a small journaling statement.
That’s it! See how this process created a completely new layout? It was fun and super easy to do. Thank y’all for reading this and see y’all next month.
