Remember!

 

Here is the 2nd set in my Remember series. I'm using these as my weekly scrapbooking pages to help me remember 2022. I think it's important for us to remember who we are, what has happened, where we live, how we grow, etc. And this is one way we can do that. I just received my 2021 album in the mail, and my children poured over it. They loved looking over our family memories. You can check out a peek of our unboxing of the album in my Instagram highlights. So, I encourage you to document and remember!

Stretch Your Stash Series

Happy January, y’all.  Can you believe this month is almost over already?  Please tell me where the time is going so I can slow it down 😊  CTM Robin here with the start of a new series of blog posts.  This year, once a month, I’ll use two bits and pieces from Liz’s store to create a brand-new layout.  The point of this exercise is to show you how all the little template pieces can be used over and over to create an entire layout.  Since this technique will help you stretch your stash, that’s what the series will be called!  AND to make it more fun, Liz has graciously said that each person who votes for their favorite piece in the comments will be entered into a drawing.  One person will be randomly chosen each month to receive a coupon for whatever piece they voted for.  Confused?  Let me show you!

Okay, so this month I chose Tags and Date Starters:

See how neither is a full template by itself?  But what if I combined the two???  Here is what I made using both pieces: 

Now to finish my layout, I included my photo and QR code, and then scrapped them both using Just Jaimee’s A Hash Tag Life kit (retired).

Isn’t that fun??  I took two pieces I’ve been using as fillers in other pages and made one unique layout out of them!  So now what I want you to do is enter a comment below telling us which one you’d like to have: Tags and Date Starters or Must Watch Journal Card Templates.  On 2/28 I’ll hold a random drawing and select one person who will win a coupon for what they voted on.  Simple and fun right??

This week started with snow! Since we live in an area where we only get snow a couple of times a year, we always enjoy it. We spent the day sledding, building snowmen, warming up by the fire, and drinking hot chocolate. It was perfect. The rest of the week, we're back at our normal routine with a little bit of yard work thrown in since a BIG tree branch came down over our road during the storm. After all of that hard work, we went to the new Chick-fil-a that the kids had been begging to go to since it opened a week ago. A Chick-fil-A is a big deal in our small town. It was a good week. Now that we have good snow, I'm ready for spring! Oh, and my youngest was inspired by my older daughter taking ballet classes, and she wanted to try it out. I guess we'll be adding ballet to our normal routine.

I want to take a minute to mention the colors of this month's BYOC. I LOVE them. The colors go perfectly with my photos. Don't you think?

Week 1 of 2022 is done, and so are my scrapbook pages. This is the first time scrapping with my new Remember Series, and I love it. It has a more traditional scrapbook feel than last year's set, and I think I'm going to like the option of adding more fun papers to my pages.

We are getting back into the swing of things over here. Back to our school routine and extra-curricular activities, but still had time for games...and ice cream!

January BYOC: Stitched Pieces, Tags and Dates, 2021 & 2022 Cut Outs!

 

I have 3 new products that coordinate with the NEW January BYOC at the Lilypad. Stitched PiecesTemplates-These have lots of paper layers with some stitching to keep them all 'fastened' together. Tags and Dates Starters - Add these to your stash and you'll always have a fun way to add dates or text to your pages. 2021 & 2022 Cut Outs - I couldn't decide if I should make 2021 cut outs to finish up the year or if I should make 2022 cut outs to start the year!
