Step-by-Step

Hello, CTM Robin her with another Step-by-Step blog post. I wanted to work with Liz’s Fun with Envelopes Templates 3 set.  This collection has so many options you can use, depending on how many photos you want to scrap.  Now see how I scrap an older photo of me with my puppy!

First, I started with template #3 since I only had the one photo to scrap.

Of course, I added my photo next.  I don’t often do one photo layouts because printing albums can get costly, but I really wanted to document that my puppy lets me hold her any way I want 😊

Next, I decided to add the papers from Just Jaime’s 2022 January Storyteller so I could figure out my color scheme for the elements.  Most of the time I fall in love with certain elements and start there.  But today this template seemed to be more about the papers!

Once those were chosen, I added my ellies.  I love how Liz’s templates help me scrap cute pages without a ton of ellies – they let my photo take center stage!

Finally, I just used the text box to tell the story of my photo and voila!  I was done.

Another page ready for my album in just a few short minutes.  THIS is why I use Liz’s template so much.  I want time to MAKE memories, not just scrap them.  Thank y’all for looking at my page and I’ll see you next month.
