Another Step-by-Step Layout

Happy 2024!  Can y’all believe it’s here already?  Now that the older kids have gone back home, and the youngest hasn’t started school yet, I’m finding it somewhat quiet around here so I have time scrap!  That’s a good thing since it’s Month of Challenges at The Lilypad and I need to find a way to get all 31 pages done this month 😊  Thankfully I’m here today with another step-by-step layout which will count as one of those pages.

This month I wanted to use a template from Recyclables79.

Y’all, I love that I can get these freebies that I missed earlier once Liz bundles them up and puts them into the store.  This one was perfect for my layout today:

As usual, I added my photos first.

I wanted to scrap our adventure to Talkeetna, Alaska and focus more on the photos and less on elements, so this template worked great!

Next, I added those few elements from Fernweh, which is a collab made by Anita Designs and Rachel Jefferies.  The outdoor theme went well with our nature hike.

After the elements I added the papers:

And then the title and journaling:

Now, usually I stop here, but I wanted to include a QR code showing the video of the salmon in Alaska.  I knew that I wanted to use these Must Watch Stickers from Liz’s store.

Don’t you think these help draw the eye to the QR code?!

That’s it.  Another layout done and ready for the forums.  I hope y’all like it and thanks for looking at the layout and taking time to read about how I made it!
