Happy July y’all. CTM
Robin here. Do you realize that one half
the year is done? Usually I’d be sad by
now since July means school is right around the corner. But this year? I think we can all agree we want
2020 to be done and gone!!
Where I live it’s super hot and sticky so I’m spending a good
bit of time inside with the air conditioning running. This gives me plenty of time to browse
through the gallery and get some inspiration.
I usually save the layouts that catch my eye for those days that my mojo
has left me and as usual, I found quite a bit of eye candy this month. I’m excited
to show you!
First we have this one by sucali. I love her paper choices and how she repeated
the yellow in three different spots to keep the page balanced. And isn’t the way she filled in one of the
dots with her Summer tag ingenious?
You know by now that I’m a sucker for QR codes. It’s crazy to me that we can see video whenever
we want without having to pull out a huge recorder or find the tape converter
to hook to the TV (I know, I’m showing my age here!) IntenseMagic has an amazing talent for
incorporating them into her layouts in an eye catching way and this layout is
no exception. The white space really
makes it easy to view the videos and makes her photos pop too.
With this virus going on in the world, a lot of us are
having staycations and jesskab documents hers so well! I love the shadowing of her title work and
the way she taped her journaling card to the paper. What a sweet page!
And last, but definitely not least, take a peek at AngelaToucan’s layout. Her blending is
fantastic and I love that she captured the action shots of the kids assembling their
tent. What a great way to take up some
time on a long summer day and an even better way of preserving that
moment. I’m definitely scraplifting this
page (and idea too!!)
